To create the illusion of an infinite carousel, I had to effectively double up the cards. That let me do the fast-forward animation at the end, which eventually settles back on the first real content card. (We have mock cards in front of and behind the main content cards to fill out the carousel a bit more.) Once it settles on the first card again, I do an instant swap back to the first set of content cards. I dynamically show and hide cards once they're completely offscreen, so RenderBox isn't having to do a bunch of wasted drawing. [6/13]
