What you witness in MOU is a failure of democracy in protecting itself from tyranny. All it takes is a new administration and the same tyrants will change the course again. Every time we offer them a respite, we make them stronger to the point we no longer can neutralize their threat. Then we need to distribute chemical warfare masks in schools and build nuclear attack shelters for our children and be scared of them constantly. We lost long term interests of the free world to the short term elections of 2028.
