$315K ask. $288K revenue. $126K profit. 44% margins. 2.5x multiple.
That margin is the first thing I look at fr.
A 44% profit margin in a services business usually means one thing, they figured out how not to throw headcount at every client problem.
And that's exactly what's happening here.
The AI stack is actually doing the labour, not just sitting in the pitch deck.
The business does demand gen and sales enablement for B2B clients. Full funnel.
They use Claude Code, Clay, n8n, Instantly, and OpenAI to do what a 6-person agency team would normally do.
But here's what I actually care about, they have an in-house engineer building internal tooling for proposals, ICP targeting, and reporting, which is the real asset.
Not the client list, but the proprietary delivery infrastructure sitting on top of commodity AI tools.
Its revenue went from $107K in 2024 to $218K in 2025.
That's 2x, and $106K was already booked in Q1 2026 alone. So if the run rate holds, they're tracking toward $400K this year, but that's a big if.
What slows me down is concentration risk.
Agency businesses at this size almost always have 2-3 clients driving 60-70% of revenue, and if one pulls out during transition, the math changes fast.
The other thing I keep thinking about is how crowded this category has gotten.
Everyone's pitching AI-enhanced agency right now, so the differentiation really lives in the tooling they've built, and you'd need to sit in the weeds to know how defensible that actually is.
At $315K, you're paying 2.5x profit.
For a B2B services business with documented systems, growing revenue, and real AI-driven margins, that's fair. Not a steal, but not stretched either.
Three questions before I'd move..
>One, what does client concentration look like, and are the contracts monthly retainers or project-based?
>Two, how much of the delivery is founder-dependent right now, because what breaks on day 31 post-close matters more than anything else.
>Three, what's the engineer's situation? Is there a stay agreement, or do they walk out with the founder?
If the top 3 clients are on 6-month-plus retainers and the engineer is locked in through transition, this is worth a serious look.
But if it's mostly month-to-month and the founder is the product, I would pass.
