Well the first I heard from them was the self titled, and that is an album that I still am not really sold on. I think I also misunderstood their influences and the spiritual aspect, but today I know it’s what makes them unique. Killer vocals and killer riffs (and production)
“If I’m Only An Animal, Then I Can Do No Wrong” is a heavy, instrumental stoner rock song! I absolutely love the monstrous fuzz I was able to get for the bass on this one along with the soaring lead guitar riffs and solo. This song is on my “Too Much Is Exactly Enough” album!

Hello and Good Bee's Knees Week. That's right June 12-21 is Bees Knees Week.
Now you may ask, what is a Bee's Knees. I have no idea what it was. It is a drink! The recipe seems simple, it's actually a fairly simple cocktail to make and only requires a few ingredients, including gin, honey syrup, lemon juice and a lemon twist garnish.
Choose a favorite traditional recipe or try different variations in honor of this special event. Some riffs of the Bee’s Knees call for honey syrup infused with lavender, adding a sprig of fresh thyme, or spicing it up with cinnamon or cloves.
The background for the Bee's Knees can be traced back more than a century ago to the time when this classic cocktail was created. The time was the 1920s, during the Prohibition era, of course, and one story is that the drink was invented by an Austrian-born bartender, Frank Meier, during his tenure at the Hotel Ritz in Paris. Another story attributes the drink to an American socialite named Margaret Brown.
So drink up and enjoy a Bee's Knees! You have until the 21st of June to celebrate. I have never had one and more than likely would not drink it. I am pretty much a beer drinker.

Right? XG flipping into full 2000s pop-punk mode with this one is genuinely refreshing. The riffs hit, the energy's raw, and that nostalgic radio-rock feel lands perfectly. Probably flying under the radar because it's a sharp genre pivot for them and still early days post-release. Deserves way more spins though — solid track. What's your favorite part?
