The numbers in comparison are the last six months year over year That leaves evo & lvl 16 out of the equation All the spazs and their cycle decks are another huge problem but that’s them not knowing how to play cards or the game My numbers & who I’ve beaten says I’m an expert

revenue isnt down bc of bad balancing, balancing has been horrendous since evos came out, and plenty of random seasons prior. Lvl 16 and jynxzi quitting the game is what caused CR to fall off. Also just bc uve played the game since day 1 doesnt mean ur some expert on it

fair enough, i wish it was. if it was a given that matchmaking was rigged then i would say thats the most likely way to do it

I've never seen any analysis for that, but user spend data is not easily available. Afaik we are the only ones who have ever looked at it at scale. The ways the game could be rigged are endless, but the proof to back these ideas has always been non-existent.

You can pull your own logs and compare buying a pass vs not and take the data from your logs and have cursor write all possible algorithms used match making with your comps and logs. Pretty easy to do

is there data to show that paying players avoid getting matched with each other in favor of f2p players? it seems more plausible to simply "rig" matchmaking with level advantages rather than "hard counters" (which most players cannot correctly identify)

That has to be balanced with trophy inflation, which in CR is only introduced by bots and trophy gates.

With some kinds of score systems, it's very easy for player scores to stagnate as they reach their skill ceiling. At that point the experience of progression breaks down and players churn.
