#Yemen: New details have come out about the killing of two #Alawite doctors, Samer Ahmed Hassan and his wife Dr. Smaher Al-Mousa, who were shot Thursday evening, June 11, in Aden. Turns out, days before they were killed, some Yemeni media figures were already posting stuff clearly meant to rile people up against them. A lot of locals are saying these same media people pushing the incitement belong to the Muslim Brotherhood. Nobody knows yet who actually carried out the assassination, but it does raise a real question, if Syrian elements were involved, this could be the first time #HTS or affiliated militants have run an operation across borders. On another note, it’s disturbing how normal it’s become for people to get marked for death over social media posts with basically zero investigation. Some are even trying to justify it by digging up old pictures of the doctors with someone from the Assad family. Even if they worked at Tishreen Hospital, that alone doesn’t mean they did anything illegal. They were doctors. But certain media outlets with no conscience and a clear agenda to justify terrorism are running a full smear campaign against every doctor who worked there. This isn’t the first time either. They did the same thing with Dr. Ghassan Ali, who got arrested by #STG and accused him of executions and selling organs from detainees, and the Gulf channels ran with it hard. Religious extremism has them not only deciding who deserves to die based on posts, but straight-up calling it God’s judgment and divine revenge. Like the ones who actually pulled the trigger aren’t just criminals!. (a pro-jihadisim account on X often do the same, whenever a Russian officer get killed by Ukrainian, he publish it and says he was awarded for fighting in Syria, as it's revenge for them, not because it's a war between Russia and Ukraine, but the extremists always think as "allah" kill for them because they're his ONLY favourite people on earth!)
