Utterance 678
The king is not to be deprived of his magic power,
"O Thmty, O Smty, do not oppose the King, do not examine the King, do not guard against the magic in the the King's hand, do not ask for the King's magic from the King; you have your magic and the King's magic is his. May the King not break your pen nor shatter your ink-shell, for it is the King who possesses a meal." R.O Faulkner's Pyramid Texts 1910.
