STGs are a dead end, anyways, so it's likely why the 2hu JP fangame scene instead pivoted to turning 2hu into clones of other games and the dirty angloids focus on merely making Reimu black as the best of their 'innovation' instead of any game design philosophies worth a damn.

It wasnt a Rumor, theres been STGs used by Russians and Ukrainians in literal fucking Ukraine, even some MG-42s were used by IsIs in 2010s.
