📰 SWWGL Combined side Trefelin BGC have appointed seven-time top flight winner Tija Richardson as their new Head Coach.
Formerly a key player at Swansea City, Port Talbot Town, Cardiff Met, Cardiff City and Briton Ferry Llansawel, Richardson retired at Ferry last year, a season which saw The Reds finish 2nd in the Genero Adran Premier.
The midfielder was also nominated for Player of the Season at the FAW National League Awards after her season with Ferry.
Richardson takes the step into tier three of the women's football pyramid as Head Coach of next season's promotion hopefuls Trefelin BGC, who are currently 3rd in SWWGL Combined this season.
It's set up to be another competitive season in the division, with the likely additions of Llanelli Town AFC, Haverfordwest County and Llantwit Fardre to the league, alongside several clubs already pushing for Genero Adran Leagues football.
