The building design with a staircase, elevator, and corridor in a single central core is called SingleCore. Cool bit from the Committee Report: The DC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects worked with @DC_DOB to identify 5,200 lots in DC where SingleCore can be used.

The potential of the Cell was only theoretical, for practical gamedev you were stuck with a singlecore CPU and a bunch of esotheric SPEs of no great use. The Xenon with proper triple core CPU was entire different ball park.

I love every part of you too. Especially your ability to be a top singlecore and multicore farmer at the same time. Plus being a top CQ unit if paired with Castoria. You helped me 6 slot 90 nodes in lottos, you're helping me in my current 90 team. Why are you so useful?

a may get a macbook neo at some point simply because they reintroduced the pink model 😭 btw the A19 is m1-ish but it is actually more like M3-ish when it comes to singlecore performance, so, not bad i guess if you get the one with touch id?

. Well it’s good score, but definitely not the best one. Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 3700 MHz has Single-Core Score = 12,229 and Multi-Core Score = 88,162 Threadripper PRO 9995WX = 30,170 in Multicore tests, and SingleCore Score: = 3,122 points Check it: browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu…

Yes, it is. It's bc using a singlecore comp in 90 is kinda rare nowadays

Kirin 9030 Pro on Mate 80 Pro Max GB Score. It's apparently not on stable Frequency, The Max it hit was 2.0~2.3GHz. It manages to do 1.3K in Singlecore & 4.6K in Multicore.

The Exynos 2600 reappeared in the Geekbench database today, achieving 3K Singlecore and 10K Multicore scores at reduced frequencies (3.55 GHz). In previous tests, it achieved 3.3K and 11.2K scores at 3.8 GHz.

first M5 geekbench result, essentially 2x singlecore & multicore relative to an M1, Mildly faster than the X2 elite, was expecting slightly better but not particularly bad the GPU scores are what I'm interested in though. That , in a 15" macbook air w/ nano-texture

The Innovation Monad is gonna bring to web3 is astonishing. Ethereum today is like an old singlecore computer. Monad is bringing the multicore revolution to blockchains. I hope you are prepared for what is coming. -Groundbreaking -Innovative -Unique ALL IN ONE.

Many people don’t know that early computers and smartphones had a single-core CPU executing one instruction at a time. Then multi-core CPUs came along boosting performance and completely revolutionizing processing for home and mobile devices. Ethereum today executes transactions sequentially one after another which limits throughput. Monad mainnet is going to bring a production ready EVM blockchain with parallel execution to modern multi-core hardware finally letting blockchains reach their full potential. And it’s going to be absolutely glorious

The party was over before I even arrived... But I still showed up anyway What if I said I got stuck in traffic? You know those Lagos traffic jams that make you want to give up on life because you keep calculating everything you could have done with that wasted time... It caught up with me today, but I decided not to turn back I’ll still make it to the party, even if I’m late, At least I can show my face Happy Social Saturday, everyone, and have a wonderful weekend It's another Saturday to connect, but most importantly, to rejuvenate Oh let’s talk about how running a @cysic_xyz is contributing to the next evolution of decentralized infrastructure for ZK rollups and ZKML Cysic is building a real-time ZK compute layer designed to power the future of zero-knowledge applications Their Phase III: Ignition testnet is more than a demo, it’s your opportunity to earn contribute meaningfully, and become part of the foundation of trustless compute Why you should care guys Cysic’s Proof-of-Compute rewards real performance not passive uptime whether you’re verifying or proving, you earn $CYS and $CGT for every valid proof submitted top performers earn more, and you can boost your earnings by inviting others into the network Running a verifier node is intentionally lightweight a singlecore CPU, 512MB of RAM, and less than 400KB of software is all it takes perfect for everyday laptops or cloud VPS If you’ve got a more powerful machine GPU or ASIC, you can step up as a Prover and generate proofs for higher rewards Cysic’s model is built to scale with your hardware To activate your node: Reserve 0.5 $CYS to become a Verifier Reserve 10 $CYS to operate as a Prover Nodes without a reservation will be paused after July 21 unreserving is flexible your tokens unlock after 7 days Early contributors also get Genesis Node status unlocking long-term perks like future staking opportunities and access to ecosystem rewards
