インターンの長野が、シエラレオネに到着しています✈
1月23日に、インターン生の長野が、無事に中国→トルコ経由（ターキッシュエアラインズ）でシエラレオネに到着いたしました。
今回は、JICA基金助成金を活用させていただいた渡航となり、無事JICAシエラレオネ支所との安全対策ブリーフィングも終え、首都フリータウンから車で8時間離れた、アラジのオフィスがあるケネマに長野は到着しています。
しかし！困ったことに、今回、預け荷物のスーツケース（23kg×2個）が届きませんでした！（ロストバゲージ略してロスバゲ！）
2個ともロスバゲをしてしまったのは初めてです。いつもどちらかがこないので…。滞在から5日が経過していますが…。今朝方、一つは届いたようです…。なぜ一つなんだ…という感じですが。
荷物がとどかない限り、ケネマオフィスに行けない状況になり、NGO登録のラインセンス更新（経産省／SLANGO）のためにマケニで会計士とあったり、マケニのGara布生産地に行ったりと、このおかげで予定が作れたのはよかったのですが…。
「ターキッシュエアとモロッコエアは深夜着のため、スタッフが客の荷物をよけてカーボンなどを積み、お金をもらっているからロスバゲが多発している。」
という噂のようです。
ロスバゲが発生しないように、毎回、航空券の手配の際には、8時間以上のトランジット（のち替え待ち時間）がある飛行機を選んだり、経由地で一回荷物を下ろして、またチェックインする飛行機を選んだりしていましたが、これではもう対策の仕様がなく途方に暮れています。
私物荷物の届いていない長野のメンタルが心配ですが…引き続き、無事に過ごして欲しいと思います。また、私たちは、au損保の海外保険の一番ランクの高い、アフリカでの緊急搬送時、無制限保障に加入していますが、首都までスーツケースを取りに行くための交通費や、宿泊費は海外保険で賄えないので、皆様の大切なご寄付が、ロスバゲのために使われるのが忍びないです。
一方で、これまで、電気メーターや、水道ポンプ、金庫を盗まれたりと、波乱万丈でしたが、こうした不測の事態を耐え抜き、10年間活動ができているのは、サポーターの皆様のおかげでもあります。こうして活動ができていること、毎月75名の10代シングルマザーが皆さまのご支援で学校に通えていること、本当に感謝です。
さて、日本側では、1/31(土）と、2/1（日）に川崎駅東口のハンドメイドマルシェに、アラジの、Gara布ブランドシエラグレースが出店します！

At today’s Young Women in STEM Certification Ceremony under the “Shine Salone: Illuminating Lives, Igniting Futures” project, key stakeholders; including @JosephAyamga1, Country Director of @SendSierraleone, and representatives from @UNDPSierraLeone Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Ministry Of Technical and Higher Education, Sierra Leone Ministry Of Youth Affairs, Green Solar Africa, SLANGO, and NCTVA; delivered powerful messages of encouragement and commitment.
They applauded the achievements of the 200 young women trained in solar energy installation, maintenance, and digital systems, reaffirming their support to ensure these skills translate into meaningful careers in the renewable energy sector.
