The LA metro (yes) and Seattleβs SoundTransit, as well as various light rail/streetcar systems around the country, are decently sleek, modern, and clean. The most famous systems, however, in NYC and Chicago, are not, due to being real (still well-used) legacy systems.

Another @SoundTransit fuck up! How much will this cost taxpayers?
Homeowners in Bellevue are raising concerns about noise from Sound Transitβs new 2 Line light rail trains operating on the elevated span between Mercer Island and Bellevue.
Residents claim train noise has exceeded local standards and is disrupting nearby neighborhoods.
A letter sent to Sound Transit alleges some trains have produced noise levels more than three times higher than surrounding vehicle traffic and above 80 decibels.
Sound Transit confirmed it received the homeownersβ letter but said it could not comment because of potential legal issues and ongoing litigation concerns.

Has anyone been to a concert at Marymoor yet this season? If so what time did it end? Want to take the @SoundTransit Line 2 but the last one departs at 11pm and I definitely donβt want to miss @Irationβs encore!

Parking at stations will be limited, so consider taking a connecting bus, getting dropped off, or biking/scootering to your station.
One important reminder: Bikes and scooters won't be allowed on Link or Sounder on match days. Bike valet service will be available at select Link stations, and BikeLink lockers will be free to use on match days.

Hey @SoundTransit, why is your fare-collection data is based on camera tracking which apparently assigns fare-evasion to people who have a day/monthly pass or a paper ticket or are under 18 and do not have to tap in. Or believe their @KingCountyMetro transfer is valid on LINK?

Fare gates might finally be coming to some Sound Transit Light Rail stations...by 2030?

I prefer IL27-123 and not some appointed "experts" appointed by places like Skagit & Spokane, but otherwise I agree. It's time for a better @soundtransit Board.

Screw you @SoundTransit and your constant train problems, I'm sick of the unreliability of your trains. Your conductors are slow and don't know how to reach consistent speeds, your time clocks are wrong, you have info on your time clocks about shit that doesn't even matter. ππ
