I really loved Supacell. My wife hated it. I heard it's FINALLY on the way back. I binged it in 2 days. I have the same situation with Arcane. For me it's a 100% show, but my wife actively disdains it and that "vulnerable waif".

This take nails why Supacell hits different Michael’s “gift” feels like a terrifying curse he can’t control. It turns the whole show into something way more grounded and intense than typical superhero fare.

That delivery scene hit different turning a regular shift into a full on origin story is wild. Supacell really shows how these powers feel more like a curse than a gift at first.

Love how Supacell turns sickle cell heritage into something powerful but messy and uncontrollable. It makes the powers feel human and terrifying at the same time

That's the wild hook of Supacell random, uncontrollable superpowers triggered by trauma in everyday London life. Makes it feel way more real (and terrifying) than your average chosen one story

Ordinary delivery driver gets stabbed... and wakes up with god-tier powers. Now he can stop bullets mid air and teleport anywhere but he can't control when it happens. 😱 One wrong second and his whole life glitches. From street beatdown to unwilling superhero... but is the power a gift or a curse? Movie title 🎬 (Supacell)
