๐Ÿ”ฅ ALMM List-II kicks in from 1 June 2026 โ€” a major boost for India's solar manufacturing ecosystem ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโ˜€๏ธ Potential beneficiaries (approx. impact outlook): ๐Ÿฅ‡ Waaree Energies โ†’ 28โ€“33% ๐Ÿฅˆ Premier Energies โ†’ 20โ€“25% ๐Ÿฅ‰ Adani Solar โ†’ 15โ€“18% ๐Ÿ… Vikram Solar โ†’ 10โ€“15% โšก Tata Power Solar โ†’ 8โ€“12% ๐Ÿš€ Servotech Renewable โ†’ 4โ€“8% ๐ŸŒž Swelect Energy โ†’ 1โ€“3% ๐ŸŽฏ Why it matters? With ALMM List-II becoming effective from 1 June 2026, several solar projects will be required to use approved domestically manufactured solar cells. This could reduce import dependence and support the growth of Indian solar cell manufacturers. ๐Ÿ“Œ Educational post only. Please do your own research before making any investment decision. Not a buy/sell recommendation. #Solar #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy #ALMM #MakeInIndia #GreenEnergy

No buying selling recommendation.
BIG UPDATE FOR INDIAโ€™S SOLAR SECTOR โœ… From 1 June 2026, the government will not give a blanket extension to the new ALMM List-II rule. โžก๏ธ Earlier, solar companies could use imported solar cells (mostly from China) inside Indian-made solar panels. โžก๏ธ Now, for many projects commissioned after 1 June 2026, companies must use: โœ… ALMM-approved Indian solar modules โœ… ALMM-approved Indian solar cells. Good news for domestic solar panel & cell manufacturers. #Solarcell #Renewableenergy

One theme that could become one of Indiaโ€™s biggest infrastructure opportunities over the next decade: โšก BESS โ€” Battery Energy Storage Systems Not just a battery story. This is the backbone of the renewable energy transition. And policy support industry investments are now accelerating rapidly. ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡ โธป What is BESS? Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) store electricity when supply exceeds demandโ€ฆ and discharge power when demand rises. In simple words: it acts like a giant power bank for the grid. This becomes critical because: โ˜€๏ธ solar works only during sunlight ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ wind depends on wind conditions โ€ฆbut electricity demand exists 24x7. โธป Why is BESS becoming essential? According to Indiaโ€™s Central Electricity Authority (CEA), the country may require: โšก 47 GW of storage capacity by 2030 โšก 236 GWh of battery storage by 2031โ€“32 to support renewable integration and grid stability. (Mordor Intelligence) RMI estimates India will require: โšก 42 GW / 208 GWh of BESS by 2030 alone. (RMI) Without storage infrastructure: renewable-heavy grids become unstable. โธป Where is BESS used? BESS is increasingly being deployed across: โœ… utility-scale renewable projects โœ… power grids โœ… AI/data centers โœ… telecom towers โœ… metro rail systems โœ… industrial facilities โœ… EV charging infrastructure Even large hyperscale data centers globally are integrating energy storage for power reliability. โธป Why the market opportunity is massive India aims for: ๐ŸŽฏ 500 GW of non-fossil fuel power capacity by 2030. (Press Information Bureau) To support this, the government is introducing: โœ… viability gap funding โœ… storage-linked tenders โœ… PLI schemes for battery manufacturing โœ… Energy Storage Obligations (ESO). (Mordor Intelligence) According to industry estimates: โ€ข Indiaโ€™s installed storage capacity could reach 346 GWh by 2033. (The Economic Times) โ€ข India plans investments of nearly: โ‚น3.5 lakh crore in battery storage between 2022 and 2032. (Press Information Bureau) โ€ข Multiple market studies estimate: 25โ€“30% CAGR growth for Indiaโ€™s BESS industry this decade. (MarkNtel Advisors) โธป Why entry barriers are HIGH This is NOT a low-tech assembly business. Serious BESS execution requires: โŒ battery chemistry expertise โŒ thermal management systems โŒ software EMS integration โŒ grid connectivity know-how โŒ fire safety architecture โŒ financing capability โŒ utility-scale project execution This naturally limits credible competition. โธป Major listed Indian companies exposed to BESS Large ecosystem players include: โ€ข Exide Industries โ€ข Amara Raja Energy โ€ข Tata Power โ€ข JSW Energy โ€ข Adani Green โ€ข Reliance Industries โ€ข Waaree Energies โ€ข Sterling & Wilson Renewable Interesting emerging/smaller players: โ€ข SPML Infra โ€ข Prostarm โ€ข Swelect Energy โ€ข Saatvik Green Energy Recent developments show how rapidly the ecosystem is scaling: โšก Adani Green recently commissioned a 3.37 GWh BESS project at Khavda, Gujarat. (The Economic Times) โšก GoodEnough Energy commissioned what ET described as Indiaโ€™s largest BESS gigafactory in Noida. (The Economic Times) โšก Ceigall India secured a โ‚น1,700 crore solar BESS project. (The Economic Times) โธป The bigger picture most investors are missing BESS sits at the intersection of: โšก renewable energy โšก EV ecosystem โšก AI/data centers โšก smart grids โšก power infrastructure โšก energy security This is not just another โ€œgreen energyโ€ trend. It could become one of the defining infrastructure themes of the next decade. And India is still early in the cycle. ๐Ÿ‘€ #BESS #EnergyStorage #RenewableEnergy #IndianStocks #EV #SolarEnergy #StockMarketIndia #nifty #banknifty #sensex premier explosives #finance

Swelect Energy Systems #HarResultKuchKehtaHai #FANTASTIC The headline numbers hide a massive structural pivot. While revenue fell 7.5%, operating profit grew 24% because the company is walking away from low-margin installation work to focus on its new 500MW high-efficiency manufacturing plant. This is a classic margin-over-volume story where the quality of earnings has taken a permanent step up. Operating margins expanded by 445 basis points to 17.5%, the highest in recent quarters. Efficiency is the hidden hero in this result. Inventory days have collapsed to 166 days from over 1,000 days during the plant's construction phase. This means the company is now converting raw solar cells into cash six times faster than it was a year ago. This efficiency helped generate โ‚น95 Cr in cash from operations, which is nearly double the reported net profit. For every โ‚น100 in profit, the company brought in โ‚น166 in real cash. The debt of โ‚น793 Cr is substantial, but it is now backed by a 170MW power generation portfolio that acts like an annuity. The recent completion of the 10MW project for the Chennai Airport adds another layer of predictable, high-margin income. Furthermore, the deal to bring Syrma SGS as an equity partner in a subsidiary proves the 'group captive' model is working. This allows the company to expand its solar footprint using other people's capital while locking in long-term customers. Looking ahead, the main risk is the retirement of the Vice President of Operations in May 2026, which could slow down the execution of new projects. However, with a PEG ratio of 0.71, the market still seems to be pricing this as a slow-growth utility rather than a high-growth manufacturer. The transition to TOPCon technology is now fully visible in the margins, and the stabilization of the supply chain suggests the worst of the capital-heavy phase is over.
