Goldenflower has Swiftkit and Lynxkit. Lynxkit doesn't last long, passing away from weakness. Swiftkit has nobody to play with. Remembering his own lonliness, longtail keeps him company, playing with him, talking with him. That's his baby brother.

I donβt think they were necessarily shown as the same litter, just in the nursery at the same time and Swiftkit was kidnapped rather than Brightkit. We see Frostfur fretting over her missing kits but not Goldenflower, I guess we will probably find out for sure before the end.

Goldenflower agrees. After all, Swiftbreeze was a fierce, honorable thunderclan cat. If Swiftkit had even half her bravery, he would make an amazing warrior.
And it turns out.. he did have her bravery, all of it :(
