That Tex joke works so well because of how oversaturated and financially dominant Disney was that having another character beat the tar out of a tonal facsimile is funny. Beating up a look-alike of another indie show you don’t like feels lazy and makes you look like a jackass.

But American bread and bacon and most cheese and sausages are completely garbage. You could make a big business selling proper alternatives over there.
