๐ป Our Miami Lighthouse Academy students are back in our Comcast Computer Lab for Technology Class!
Pictured, Academy students are introduced to basic computer skills such as learning to use the mouse (which also helps develop hand-eye coordination) with educational games, making learning fun!
Our students who are visually impaired and blind use accessible technology such as screen readers to zoom text large with high contrast settings to make it easier to see, as well as touchscreen tablets and smart braillers, which encourage multi-sensory learning through visual, tactile and auditory feedback.
Together, we prove it's possible to see without sight! ๐๐๏ธ
