4-year-old Gabriel from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is now an orphan after his parents, Alexus Lee and John “JR” Collins, were tragically killed in separate car accidents just hours apart. On May 16, 2025, Alexus, 25, died in a crash around 2 a.m. JR, 35, who was rushing to the scene, was killed in a separate crash less than two hours later after his vehicle hit a tree. Neither was wearing a seatbelt. The engaged couple, who were planning their wedding for early 2026, leave behind their young son Gabriel. A heartbreaking tragedy for this family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gabriel and his loved ones. Rest in peace, Alexus and JR. 🙏
