Pride has a way of convincing us that we don't need God, don't need correction, and don't need anyone else's help. It lifts us up in our own eyes while blinding us to our own weaknesses. Humility, on the other hand, keeps us teachable, dependent on God, and grounded in truth. The higher pride lifts a person, the harder the fall, but humility walks securely with the Lord. "When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom" (Proverbs 11:2). ‍

Sometimes great things are extremely difficult and scary things in a world full of adversity. The prophets understood this well.

I broke my wrist and needed surgery, as I memorized this scripture on my way to the hospital and right before surgery it did exactly what is says! Gods word is alive and active! Heb 4:12. Praise Him!

You do not have to carry tomorrow before it arrives. God gives grace for today, strength for today's assignment, and peace for the present moment. Many battles are won not by striving harder, but by resting deeper in the promises of God. Trust Him with what is ahead and be faithful with what is in front of you. "You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3).

Do not let the culture around you speak louder than the Christ within you.

The issue isn’t whether Mormonism uses Christian language. The issue is whether Mormonism teaches Christian truth. A different god always leads to a different gospel.

The world tells you to look within yourself for truth. God tells you to look beyond yourself to Him. Feelings change, culture shifts, and opinions evolve, but God's Word remains fixed and trustworthy. Don't build your life on what is popular today, build it on what will still be true a thousand years from now. "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever" (Isaiah 40:8). ‍

Why don’t churches teach apologetics and answering cults anymore? Thank you for addressing this!
