I continued to build on the foundation that was laid yesterday by taking an introductory course on splunk via the @tryhackme platform.
I was also able to install splunk on my vm after so much troubleshooting.
I’ll continue tomorrow with resources from YouTube and rooms on tryhack me.

I got introduced to Splunk today and as usual it’s always a lot to take in at first, in the course of the week as I study, I should gain more clarity.
One of my goals was to improve my communication skills and thankfully Dr Ireti’s mentorship offers a public speaking class. I joined the class this evening and so it’s safe to say the journey to building good communication skill has begun.

I completed the dynamic analysis of malware today on @LetsDefendIO I made use of tools like procmon, process hacker, regshot and fiddler.
Not yet satisfied I moved to @tryhackme to take on the malware analysis room but I realized I had not done the prerequisites which were windows internals and history of malware, I opted for those two instead.
I’ll treat the malware room tomorrow

Tryhack me isn't free,some rooms are, but most of the core rooms you're going to have to pay. It's cheap though.
