Italic typeface

An overly-stylized, alien-looking typeface seems to run counter to the premise of horror arising out of mundanity. This doesn’t look familiar to me at all, so why not go further and make the rooms themselves alien? Cover the walls in sci-fi panels and goo, stick a xeno in there.

BBC’s Liquid Glass / SmartArt effect is confusing, I love their aggressively minimalist scorebug ordinarily. Really like ITV’s effort this time actually, and Roboto is a fantastic typeface I think… clear but characterful (and with monospaced numerals)
