Polda Jabar Tinjau Lokasi Musibah Tambang Pongkor, Fokus pada Penanganan Kemanusiaan Polda Jawa Barat meninjau langsung lokasi musibah lubang tambang di kawasan PT Antam Tbk Unit Pengolahan dan Pemurnian Emas (UPBE) Pongkor, Desa Bantar Karet, Kecamatan Nanggung, Kabupaten Bogor, Kamis (22/1/2026). Peninjauan dipimpin Kapolda Jabar Irjen Pol. Dr. Rudi Setiawan sebagai bentuk komitmen Polri dalam memastikan penanganan kemanusiaan berjalan optimal serta memberikan dukungan moril kepada keluarga para korban. Berdasarkan laporan Tim SAR gabungan, hingga saat ini sebanyak 11 korban meninggal dunia telah berhasil dievakuasi dari dalam lubang tambang. Para korban diketahui berasal dari wilayah Kecamatan Nanggung, Cigudeg, dan Sukajaya. Seluruh jenazah telah diserahkan kepada pihak keluarga untuk dimakamkan. Sebagai wujud empati dan kepedulian, Polda Jawa Barat turut menyalurkan bantuan kepada keluarga korban terdampak musibah tersebut. Dalam peninjauan, Kapolda Jabar bersama jajaran turut memasuki area tambang untuk memastikan kondisi di lapangan, termasuk titik awal munculnya asap. Irjen Pol. Dr. Rudi Setiawan menegaskan bahwa kondisi di dalam lubang tambang masih berbahaya akibat tingginya kadar karbon monoksida (CO). Polda Jabar terus berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait, termasuk PT Antam dan Tim SAR, guna mengamankan lokasi, mencegah risiko lanjutan, serta mendukung proses penyelidikan yang masih menunggu hasil pemeriksaan Puslabfor Mabes Polri.
