Did you know the largest flag in the world was displayed in 1909 @WSUPullman on the side of Murrow Hall? It was made in #Pullman by Mrs. Harry E. Mitchell. 📸: @WSULibraries archives 🇺🇸 #FlagDay#GoCougs
ALT Black-and-white historical photograph of a large brick institutional building with arched windows, draped with an enormous American flag that stretches nearly the full width of the façade from roofline to just above the rows of people below. The flag is oriented with the canton (field of stars) on the viewer’s left, containing numerous small, evenly spaced white stars arranged in rows against a darker background. Broad horizontal stripes—alternating light and dark—run across the entire building, appearing slightly curved and rippling as the fabric hangs in gentle waves from multiple attachment points along the roofline. The scale of the flag is emphasized by how the stripes span several window rows and architectural sections, partially obscuring the building’s details.
In the foreground, a long, dense formation of uniformed cadets stands in straight rows across the entire width of the image, visually anchoring the base of the flag. Visible text along the bottom reads: “Largest American

ALT Black-and-white photograph showing a wide, open grassy field in the foreground, with a single person standing in profile on the right side of the image, facing toward a group of campus buildings in the distance. The person stands upright with arms at their sides and short, dark hair, wearing a light-colored collared shirt. Beyond the field, a row of mid-century institutional buildings stretches across the background: three rectangular, multi-story structures with flat roofs and long horizontal rows of evenly spaced windows. One building at center has a slightly different facade with a recessed or darker section. A low retaining wall or slope separates the field from the buildings, and a few small vehicles are faintly visible near the structures. The sky above is bright with scattered, puffy clouds, providing strong contrast to the dark tones of the buildings and field.
ALT A large sculpture of a cougar is featured prominently in the center. The text reads: "The Crimson 50" and "Donald '62 and Lorraine '60 Almy, 60 years of giving." The Washington State University logo is present at the bottom right.
ALT The image features the Washington State University logo with a stylized cougar head. Below, there's a quote: "We’re very proud of WSU and its mission to educate so many people in our state and its growing reputation in the country." The background includes red and white diagonal stripes.

It's our 136th birthday & here's a photo of The Crib, the first @WSUPullman building! After our 1890 founding, the building was built in 1891 for our 1892 opening, and in 1901 incorporated into the construction of a gymnasium which would later be best remembered as the TUB. In turn, the Crib portion of the TUB was demolished in Sept. 1947. It was loosely in the location of the current Holland Library. libraries.wsu.edu/masc/unive… 📸: @WSULibraries archives 🎂🎉 #TBT#WSU#GoCougs
ALT An old, single‑story brick building sits alone in an open grassy field. The structure has a steep, shingled roof with visible wear and damage, including a section where shingles are missing. Several tall, narrow windows line the sides, many appearing dark or empty. The overall scene looks aged and weathered, giving the impression of an abandoned rural schoolhouse or community building.

Stop the medical research ypu are going to do on horses and sheep and send them to sanctuaries instead. Use non animal methodologies instead of slicing them open then killing them. That's cruel
Why are animal rescues reporting you are planing to kill adoptable horses and goats when there are sanctuaries waiting to welcome them?! Shame. Do the right thing and release them to the rescues.
Little time left to save the animals! On social media, urge the university to cancel its plans to kill the adoptable horses & goats -- instead, send them to sanctuaries that are standing by!

What you are, are murderers of innocent life. Let's see this humanly..(if we can)..Mutilation, slicing open living goats & horses...? Research or savage crazies?.. Let's do this again...Save the horses& goats .. Provide sanctuaries and carve on dummies, its more humane
