Through the Women in STEM Scholarship, we’re breaking barriers and empowering women to pursue education and careers in fields where they’ve been historically underrepresented. AWSN had a wonderful WinSTEM week! The week was marked with key events across Edmonton, Lethbridge, and Calgary. We engaged over 800 students and community members, building excitement and curiosity about STEM fields while emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion.

The Government of Alberta has officially declared October 6-12th WinSTEM week! For many years, AWSN has hosted events in October around Ada Lovelace Day to celebrate Women in STEM. The tradition continues and we are hosting our 4th annual WinSTEM week Equality in Motion.
