Suicide Attack Foiled at Police Checkpoint in DG Khan, 3 Terrorists Killed
In the Tunsa Sharif area of Dera Ghazi Khan, a suicide bomber affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij attempted to ram an explosives-laden vehicle into the Jhangi Police Checkpoint.
Vigilant police personnel acted promptly, stopping the attacker at a safe distance and successfully foiling the attack. The resulting explosion killed three terrorists.
Five police officials sustained minor injuries in the incident and were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
The area has been cordoned off and security measures have been further tightened.
