Good morning, USA!
The Drip look to bounce back after a rough 0-2 week last week as they take on Bauman Lumber and High Point tonight in a 7:00 and 8:00 showdown.
The team is looking to start a run, as GM Booth has officially stated, “If we lose, we fold.”
In other news, sources around the clubhouse and ownership group report that Bennett Dean, the underwhelming brother of the legendary Bradley Dean, failed a physical fitness test. To make matters worse, the Japanese Little League team has reportedly declined all future trade offers involving him. Despite the setbacks, he is expected to make his return to The Drip lineup tonight.
The boys will also be drinking heavily this evening thanks to the two buckets owed by young prospects Nelly and Marcos. Thanks, fellas!
And for all the young fans out there, be sure to stop by the All Around Drip tent at Oahe Days this weekend for free autographs and photos with your favorite players. Unfortunately, star first baseman Tina will not be in attendance for reasons only his neighbors can truly understand.
Let’s ride, Drip Nation.
