This just shows how Malays are regularly being the victim of provocation and racism by minorities, and the behaviour of minorities that fail to function and co exist within the society. Thanks for showing FAFO moment, Malays always upheld the Malaysian spirit and culture
Malaysia’s anti-Rohingya xenophobic attacks did not emerge out of nowhere. From the 1945 postwar riots to the 1969 May 13 riots to Kampung Medan riots in 2001, Malaysia has a very long history of ethnic conflict, racism & xenophobia.
Race politics and Malay nationalism have long shaped the Malaysian state. Whenever fear rises in Malaysia, it is minorities and migrants who become scapegoats. History repeats itself!
Malay Nationalists will try to rewrite history and downplay this dark side of Malaysia. It is nothing new and neither will it end. They will deny the riots and mob killings; like they are dening the mob violence and xenophobia towards the Rohingya.
