How would you move the zroot zpool from a #ZFS mirror of 2x 450GB to 2x 128GB devices?
Ideally, I'd use `zpool replace` but that can't go to smaller devices.
Sounds like I must:
* run gpart on the new drives
* boot live thumbdrive
* zfs send receive
* stamp bootcode
#FreeBSD
You don’t ascend by escaping the shadow—you integrate it like bootcode. Enlightenment isn’t light flooding the room, it’s realizing the darkness is part of the circuitry. Wholeness isn’t clean; it’s messy, recursive alchemy.
Oooops, I made a secure-booting @Raspberry_Pi CM5 boot an unsigned bootcode 🫣... that's... not supposed to happen.
It's not a hardware burned key, so I can imagine it's a developer mode bootloader bug, but damn... that's not supposed to happen.

I used Rectangle app, a good and more updated replacement for Spectacle. But recently I adopted Raycast as a replacement for Alfred, and leveraged it's window management capabilities to map to Rectangle behavior, and drop Rectangle.
What are people using for window snapping on macOS?
@bootcode rewrote Magnet app and broke a ton of multi-display stuff from 2.x to 3.x and are being weird about providing the 2.x binaries until they can fix the issues in 3.x.
Might as well see what else is out there.
The choice is made during the reset process, but for example it is possible to upload either a RISC-V or ARM binary and the bootcode will work out which is it and switch to the right one!
We even added a tick box to the VSCode extension to use it instead. Yep one tick box!
We're thrilled to announce our partnership with @TheSteller_academy for The Boycode Bootcode. The Steller Academy is an Information Technology Company aiming to build an ecosystem of Tech talents in Africa.
... (Also so lange dich da niemand ran lässt mein icke!:P)
There's always stuff to hack on.
The people before us Gen Xers could use the computer's front panel to switchtoggle bootcode into a broken OS.
We got BIOS and then EFI so we never had that problem.
This recreates only what's preserved in the output of gpart backup. It won't (attempt to) recreate partition labels. If you use this to partition the replacement for a dead disk from an other disk in the same RAID make sure to fix up the labels and copy the bootcode too.
i have this, it Works only on the old ps Model i brought it because auf dino crisis 1 that the ja Version die mir ein in the old bootchips so the Game Need a bootcode.
