๐๐ Humor in the Classroom? Yes, Please! ๐ฉ๐ฉ
Want your students to learn AND laugh?
Here's a Dr. Seuss-style story I wrote for my classโfeaturing real student nicknames, flying pencils, jelly donuts, and a whole lot of love for learning.
Because sometimes the best classroom management toolโฆ is a rhyme and a smile. ๐โ๏ธ๐ก
๐ Read it. Share it. Try it in your class.
Your students will never forget the lessonโor the laughter. โค๏ธ

The Whiz Kids of Room 6/1, Jelly Donuts
(By Teacher Tony, inspired by Dr. Seuss)
In a class full of giggles and learning and glee,
There were students as bright as bright kids could be.
They drew, they explored, they could solve any clueโ
And the stars of the show were not one, but a crew!
With Teacher Tony, bold with a grin,
And Teacher Renu, who kept order in.
They danced through each subject, from reading to math,
And dodged flying pencils that zoomed down the path!
Now first, there was Vector, a curious case,
Who touched every desk and each studentโs face.
Heโd tap on a shoulder, or tickle a shoe,
Then bounce to the whiteboard like kangaroos do!
And then came Japan, who was known for his voice,
But singing a song? That was not yet his choice.
Heโd open his mouth, and then suddenly freezeโฆ
And pull at his hair with the greatest of ease!
Now Perth and Puriโoh what a smart pair!
They solved Rubikโs cubes like magicians in air.
Theyโd finish their work before lunch even came,
Then whisper, โWeโre doneโฆ letโs play Rubik again!โ
Then walked in Thanks, with a smile so bright,
He lit up the room like a lantern at night.
He listened, he learned, and he shared with a cheer,
And everyone loved it when Thanks was near!
Next was KhongKwan, but we called her KK.
(For Krispy Kreme Donuts, we say it that way!)
She laughed and she bubbled, so kind and so sweet,
She made every Tuesday feel like a treat!
Now the rest of the crew? Oh, they shined like the sun!
Each one brought the magic that made learning fun.
They colored, they counted, they read with delightโ
And even when noisy, they still got it right!
So Teacher Tony would juggle with flair,
While Teacher Renu fixed bows in her hair.
Together they led with a laugh and a song,
In a class where both fun and good grades belonged.
And maybe one day, Japan will sing,
And Vector will finally stop touching everything.
And donuts for KK, and Rubics for the restโ
This class, oh dear friends, is truly the best!
