that is true. platforms like Cloudways usually mix what they run in their own datacenters with capacity they rent from others. for example, they most likely use edge networks from companies like Cloudflare and Fastly to serve static files and streaming. however, hosting application databases and long-term storage of static files is almost always cheaper when done in your own datacenter. there appear to be at least 14 internationally known datacenters in Karachi.
