I'll take a "dumb" car over a computerized piece of crap. Where are the car enthusiasts who know the cars from the 60s & 70s. Design something new with the best of the old.

And moon landings! If we live in a simulation, space must exist. A wooden roof would spoil it right? The moon landings is the perfect spy op to make us believe we live in an infinite space with planets and stars etc. But if you look at the wandering stars they look computerized.

i appreciate the idea, but i don’t want yet another computerized system that causes problems when it decides to stop working properly. we already have that enough with our shake and ice cream machine, registers, abs, etc

Would be grand. Does Michigan have mail in/early voting? Ballot boxes? Computerized everything election-oriented?

Some metro in Paris like line 1,4,14 etc they operate without drivers. The trains are controlled automatically by a computerized system that manages speed, braking, and train spacing. Because there is no driver on board, the stations are equipped with platform screen doors (glass safety barriers) along the edge of the platform.

Auto manufacturers haven't figured out that smart features like auto braking are the reason they have so many vehicles sitting unsold. Between outrageous prices and computerized driving, people want to hold on to their more reliable and less "smart" cars and trucks.

✌️😎 Pop music has now gone to shit. It’s more about dancing mostly naked with no talent, computerized boring music and crappy repetitive lyrics. Whores on stage. Even Shania fell into the trap. Bring back real talent and real music. @LearnUSAhistory

Because the outdoor tracks in Queens are highly exposed to the weather, they require frequent, heavy maintenance that triggers constant weekend and evening service changes. Much of the line still uses physical, century-old signaling tech rather than modern, computerized tracking.

In 1971, the world had its first electronic stock exchange, the NASDAQ terminal. Traders could now type orders directly into a computer. A trader named Thomas Peterffy didn’t want to type in orders, so he and his engineers hacked into the NASDAQ terminal so it could be wired directly to their own computer, which traded automatically on algorithms. A senior NASDAQ official saw Peterffy’s setup and said Peterffy was breaking the rules: All orders had to be entered through the keyboard. He gave Petterfy’s group one week to fix the problem. Peterffy and his engineers came up with a solution. They built a mechanical robot with rubber fingers that typed entries into the keyboard. It’s reported that the inspector stormed out of the room upon seeing the hulking machine, but it technically satisfied the NASDAQ rules. Traders said that on active trading days, the robot typed so fast that it sounded like a machine gun. Peterffy became the father of digital trading. He would write code in his head during the trading day and then apply his ideas to computerized trading models after hours. The rise of high-frequency trading in the stock market from January 2007 through January 2012.
