i think some people need a reminder that the jay we see today wasn’t built overnight. he didn’t just “show up” and become a star. he fought, quietly and relentlessly, for every inch of where he stands now remember i-land? i remember the jay who kept raising his hand again and again, even after being rejected multiple times in a row. not because it was easy, but because he refused to let rejection define him. he felt resentment, anger, and shame, he was honest about it. but even then, his ambition was stronger. stronger than the doubt, stronger than the discomfort. and instead of stepping back, he kept moving forward.  it was never weakness, it was honesty. the raw, unfiltered emotion of someone who wanted something so badly and wasn’t afraid to show it. he chose ambition over pride, and kept going even when it hurt i remember the jay who hit rock bottom at rank 11. the jay who felt so lost he didn’t even know what made him stand out anymore. the jay who prepared himself for the possibility of not debuting, writing farewell letters to the people he trained with hands swollen, heart heavy, yet still choosing to express gratitude instead of bitterness. that alone says everything about the kind of person he is he once said he felt like he had nothing special compared to the others. and maybe, at that time, he truly believed it. but instead of letting that thought consume him, he did something much harder, he built himself from it. piece by piece, day by day, through discipline, persistence, and an unwavering will to improve and that’s why when you look at him now, you’re not just looking at “talent.” you’re looking at effort that was repeated so many times it turned into something undeniable. you’re looking at someone who didn’t wait to be given a place, he earned it his growth is not luck, his presence is not accidental, he is where he is today because he refused to stay down even when everything around him told him he should and that, more than anything, is what makes him unforgettable
