Serial killer Harvey Marcelin has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering and dismembering a woman he met in a NYC women’s shelter.
This is the third separate time that Marcelin has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a woman. He was first convicted of murder in 1963, then paroled in 1984, only to be arrested for a second femicide in 1986. He was paroled a second time, to a women’s shelter, in 2019, even though he told a parole officer upon his release that he had “a problem with women.”
For the last four years, Marcelin has been housed in a women’s facility, but has recently been moved to hospital accommodations, probably as a result of age and ill health.
This case should serve as a reminder that even ill, very elderly men can be dangerous to women, and that women need separate housing in shelters and other facilities.

The Deal is Done.
President Trump's birthday present to himself & all of us is a deal w/ Iran.
Lots of devils, very few details so far, but smart money says this delivers the dust and opens the Strait. That makes this a win for the US.
@Johnny_Joey hit a key point on Hezbollah. Iran was using them as a way to try to gain concessions from President Trump. They knew if they had them hit Israel, there would be a response and then they could howl in indignation.
No one can expect a sovereign nation to absorb attacks and not retaliate, so Israel did. President Trump was angry, but he understands a leader must stand up for his people. Iran's ploy didn't work and the deal is ready to be signed this Friday.
More details will be helpful in evaluating how good this deal is, but it's already an excellent victory for Team USA.
