Cannot recommend this recipe enough. Tho Diffords does recommend unnecessary brands. Cocktails were invented to mask the taste of bad booze. There is no bad booze anymore, but using anything but cheap bourbon is a waste of geld. Save the expensive bourbon for sipping.

Hi. I tried Grog. It was one Diffords cocktail of the day last week. Was not sure as it had iced water but it was lovely. Had a 5 mile walk and just picking burdock seeds from a spaniel's ear🙂 #ConfinedCocktailala.

Yes I’ve seen that one. But even it actually gives two specs, and diffords has a radically different third spec. I want to know what spec @DavidWondrich actually used…

@DavidWondrich hi! Do you happen to know what was the standard garnish for this cocktail? I read on diffords that its a zest twist but the picture shows a citrus zest "dot".
