Tonight dpd delivery people really let me down. I ordered a special dinner from Dishpatch as a treat. The driver messaged he'd left it at '34' NO ADDRESS!!!! No PHONE just a picture of a tree. That's a lobster supper rotting in a driveway somewhere within 3 miles of my postbox.

@waitrose I had ordered a Dishpatch dessert which was due to be delivered today by DPD and I have just been informed it isn’t being delivered as as “damaged”. They did not attempt to deliver it so I don’t know how “damaged” it was. It was supposed to be Mother’s Day dessert! Help

Has Dishpatch done any research into their customers?
I presume most of their customers are attracted by the “celebrity chef” element. You can't usually eat their food without travelling a long way.
Where I live, there are only a couple of Michelin star restaurants nearby.

Dishpatch has meals that do proper cheffy things - it's unlikely your local takeaway does these.
It's unlikely you can do these yourself, even if you are a really good cook.
There's a good chance they are better than your local restaurants.

They are far more of a “treat” than an M&S “Valentine Meal Deal”.
Usually, they are a lot more expensive, but meal deals have gotten pricey lately, and you can get last-minute Dishpatch deals.

Dishpatch provides very high quality meals, delivered to your door.
They are not really comparable to Gousto, Deliveroo, or regular takeaway services.
They are NOT cheap, and they are not without effort. Some cooking ability - mainly attention to detail - is required.

Bubala - the restaurant featured in this (unfortunate) review - is one of the restaurants Dishpatch work with.
The reviewer was clearly experiencing loss of taste and smell. Bubala’s food is very highly flavoured.

Hi @michel_roux_jr — disappointed today. Ordered your Dishpatch Valentine’s “Dîner à Deux” from @waitrose (£130 £6 @DPDdelivery) and was told on delivery day the order was lost. Now scrambling for a last‑minute replacement. Really not what I expected.
