#FighterFriday #F16Friday An F-16 that looks a bit different than the standard Hill Gray scheme, in an attractive darker Ferromagnetic Paint. It is called "Have Glass V". It is a specialized Radar-Absorbent Material (RAM) coating. It is the exact same technology and chemical composition developed for the 5th-generation F-35 Lightning II. The paint incorporates microscopic ferromagnetic metallic flakes (often referred to by crews as "science magic") that absorb and scatter electromagnetic energy rather than reflecting it straight back to a radar dish to get a fighter's position.
