Bill and Hillary Clinton took furniture, silverware/flatware, china, rugs, and other household items from the White House when Bill Clinton’s term ended in January 2001.
They did take the stuff, got caught in a controversy, and had to give some back and pay for the rest. It wasn’t outright “theft” in a criminal sense (no charges were filed), but it was widely viewed as sleazy and improper, which describes the Clintons to a T.....😡
