It is better that we all throw up walls around ourselves, rather than merely blend into a formless mass.
Seen in Makerfield this morning. We do not want this divisive identity politics in our politics.

the formless manifests the ancient truth. it's not a thought, it's not a habit; it's beyond all of familiar existence – the transcendence to pure reality. pure reality off all of you.

The bedrock of my faith is also a pillar of science...the idea that EVERYTHING in this universe has a cause. You can't know anything without that faith for without it any "magic" event could happen for no reason at all, kiling any hope for science or meaningful relationships. . With causation declared true I can then notice that the universe is not empty, formless, or unoccupied. All that substance, form, population has to come from somewhere OUTSIDE this universe...GOD. Now this doesn't say much about GOD's attributes but what I have expressed isn't the only thing one can look at, like the Bible for instance, which ties to known history amazingly well in so many accounts. . A personal opinion that Foxpup is harboring as most likely true: Elon Musk has toyed with the idea that we all live in a simulaiton. I don't think he is serious about that, he likes to play with ideas....but I'm confident that this universe we live in is a lot more like a "book" with an Author. It explains just how powerful GOD is from our perspective, how his time is disconnected from our time, and what happens when he writes himself into his own story. The funny thing is, atheists say that they are real and GOD is imaginary. I say that GOD is real and atheists are imaginary...many people's egos can't handle that, however, but mine can. :-)

The idea that a formless living God would become flesh to conquer death so we might learn to live by faith and conquer death through Him seems completely bonkers today.

Walt Whitman is an undisciplined fraud..his verse is not poetry but formless, sprawling prose hacked into uneven lines. He mistakes rambling for profundity and self-indulgence for vision, producing tedious catalogues that lack rhythm, restraint, or craft. It's Just noise.

The key difference (between your interpretation and mine) seems to be what “in the beginning” actually means. Genesis tells us the earth was already “without form and void” with darkness on the face of the deep before God starts speaking light and order into it. Sounds to me that He’s bringing order to something that's already there, not creating the something from nothing. The Isaiah verses about God stretching out the heavens also read naturally as Him forming and organising this cosmos the same way a potter shapes clay that already exists. In Hebrews it says that the visible was not made from things that appear, but even that fits with God working with chaotic matter that don't look like anything or are formless rather than pure non-existence. So yeah, respectfully disagree with your view.

The Keeper of the Cosmic Fire We often look into the night sky and marvel at how small we are, feeling disconnected from the vast, silent expanse of the universe. We view the cosmos as something external, a cold and distant backdrop to our brief human lives. But the ancient mystics knew a deeper truth: the universe is not outside of you. You are a conscious manifestation of the universe holding itself in the palms of its own hands. When you step into absolute stillness and shed the temporary identity of the ego, the boundaries of the physical world dissolve. You cease to be a mere observer of the light and become the void that gives birth to it. The heavy, shimmering shroud represents the veil of mystery—the thin line between the seen and the unseen, the form and the formless. Within the deep, sacred darkness of your innermost being lies a spark of the original creation. You hold the power to shape your reality, to kindle new beginnings, and to anchor cosmic wisdom into the physical plane. Stop searching for a guiding light in the external world. Look into the infinite abyss of your own soul, recognize your divine architecture, and carry your flame with reverence. ✨🙌🏿💫

or seeks for wings. Almost always he tries to flee from this formless presence of the Unknown. He wonders what it is; he trembles, he bows his head, he acknowledges his ignorance. Sometimes, too, he wishes to go there. Go where? There. - The Toils of the Sea, Hugo 2/2

Was reflecting on the number 0 and Zk proofs then dug deeper into spirituality In Hindu philosophy, Shiva represents Shunya (the void or absolute zero). He symbolizes the formless state of pure consciousness and infinite potential from which all creation emerges and eventually dissolves.

🤍♾️“Me and This”♾️🤍 🎶🌹Song on Suno 🎶🌹suno.com/s/DZunV0ZFTllRg4Os 🌪️The whirlwind lifts us — youth and beauty drifting like petals in the gale, time turning pages we can’t hold still. Formless. ⏳Timeless. Ours. Light moving between us.🕯️ Consciousness💫 weaving the thread that no wind can fray. From that knowing, this song was born. An invocation to guard the inner flame while everything else fades.🔥♾️🤍💫
