Open University of Kenya (OUK) Chancellor, Dr. James Mwangi, graced the 2nd Graduation Ceremony held at Konza Technopolis.
OUK is the first fully online public university in the country, offering a bold model of education that is flexible, inclusive and powered by technology. This milestone celebrated over 213 students graduating across diverse fields.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Mwangi highlighted the importance of leveraging technology to expand access to quality and affordable education, enabling lifelong learning and empowering every Kenyan to upskill and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Driven by his passion for education and inclusive learning, Dr. Mwangi continues to champion initiatives that create opportunities for all, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder bright learners from achieving their academic dreams. In recognition of these aspirations, OUK will soon launch the Chancellor’s Fund, making higher education even more accessible for deserving students.
