For anyone who cares, GenAI was used on my last VOD thumbnail. I wasn't sure how I felt about it but I also didn't ask for it to be removed either. Thanks to everyone who discussed its usage. My thoughts on GenAI has been changing recently and I've decided we won't use it again.

Being impatient is not an excuse to use genAI... This is not even an accurate representation of what the arts truly look like so what's the point? This achieves nothing except harming our environment and showing just how little you care about the human artists behind the game.

i switched one of my internal tools (OSS now) to gemma 4 almost two weeks ago and it's been a pleasant experience so far.. and also fyi: the migration was smooth too as with the genAI sdk, i only had to update the model name.
