Thats simply not true.... A lot of satanists are gnostics who believe God and the devil are the same being. And then there are actual devil worshipers.

No one has used those terms I just made up an imaginary guy in my head . But trust that people that hold such beliefs without having ever uttered these terms exist Yes I am talking to the techno-gnostics on /x/ that produced the odious and forsaken Instagram offshoots

Luke - self references to being a prophet. Matthew, John and Luke plus 24 more also refer to him as prophet. This doesnt include the banned gospels, the essenes/gnostics or other sacred texts either. Just the current modern versions of the bible.

none of this comes from the Bible or from any Gnostic texts as i have studiously avoided reading either what i believe is Gnostic in a technical sense, in that it is all based on what i have learned from direct personal experience i know what Christians think about Gnostics hah

He’s only speaking of the gnostics. You’re doing the hasty generalization fallacy. We know the intended group he refers to because he explicitly states who they are. You’re broadening that out without John doing so.

They left not because they were gnostics but "because they were not of us" If they were not so John doesn't say "they would have taught different thigns" but "they would have remained w/ us". You want this to be only about gnostics. John's statement does not require this.
