I did the math. If HYTOPIA pays out $HYBUX for NFT staking over 2 years (the same linear model as Nodes), then average-rarity assets print: World ≈ 110,000 $HYBUX per World (~55,000 / year) Avatars ≈ 13,333 $HYBUX per Avatar (~6,667 / year) GrayBoy ≈ 10,000 $HYBUX per GrayBoy (~5,000 / year) But remember: These numbers are conservative. • 20% of NFTs will never be staked → rewards concentrate on active holders • Marketplace revenue sharing does NOT expire → stacks on top forever Meaning: Real $HYBUX per NFT will be significantly higher for long-term stakers.

This is the META for lazy HYTOPIA investors: "Stake as much $HYBUX as possible whilst being fully hedged!" The new @HYTOPIA token on @Base will have an annual inflation of up to 10%. But you can hedge against it if you stake both $HYBUX and HYTOPIA NFTs (existing collections of Ethereum). You are fully hedged by reaching 75 points: 🌎 10–20 pts per HYTOPIA World (rarity-based) 🕺 2–4 pts per Genesis Avatar (rarity-based) 👽 1-2 pts per GrayBoy (rarity-based) How many points do you have?

Picked up multiple GrayBoy NFTs, including this one 🧹 I think they are undervalued atm because it is the most accessible entry point for long-term Hytopia investors: Under the old $TOPIA tokenomics, GrayBoys had 0 direct allocation. Zero. That completely changes with $HYBUX! Under the new $HYBUX tokenomics, GrayBoys finally get paid: 100,000,000 $HYBUX are initially allocated to GrayBoy staking. They also benefit from non-expiring HYTOPIA marketplace revenue share! 15% fee on every primary sale 5% on secondary goes to the NFT Reward Pool, and GrayBoys receive 5.33% of that pool (rarity‑weighted). If HYTOPIA marketplace volume rips, GrayBoys print. With the new tokenomics, you can also stake $HYBUX and pair them with NFTs like GrayBoys to get up to 10% APR on your tokens. Enough reasons for me to sweep the sh*t out of this collection.

$HYBUX airdrop is next: 2 $HYBUX per $TOPIA (held unclaimed) from the Sep 8 snapshot will be airdropped to wallets on Base soon. The new HYTOPIA web3 interface will look similar but with major upgrades: ➡️ GrayBoy staking (100M allocation) ➡️ $HYBUX staking (2.5 % yield starting Jan 2026) ➡️ Endorsements: bet on specific HYTOPIA games ➡️ Clean dashboard for epochs, unclaimed balances, NFT inflation boosts, and more If this platform takes off, you will claim gen wealth on HYTOPIA.

Personally I’d prefer a grayboy over an avatar because they will get a grayboy avatar airdrop in the future which will pump the price quite a bit I think

What’s surprising to me: The upcoming HYTOPIA tokenomics changes are a dream for passive $HYBUX and NFT holders. I expected the shift to reward active participants more. But instead, the system doubles down on inflating staking rewards. On top of that, they’re adding new pools like GrayBoy staking and a 10% yearly inflation boost. For holders, this is insanely bullish. But here’s the cost: The cut for holders is so big that it risks killing adoption before it even starts. Creator incentives are weak; developers only get 35% of first-party sales and 5% from royalties. It's hard to convince people to migrate to HYTOPIA this way. This is a very hard sell rn, IMO. HYTOPIA is making the cold-start problem even harder to solve.
