It was Haney and Sr who went viral with the handspeed video before Ryan and later Tank. Most of boxing twitter got into boxing during the pandemic and because they couldn't gain tractor in other Twitter niches. That's why most guys just repost content.

Well when comparing the speed shown in the videos Shakur is clearly more swift handspeed wise. God bless u all btw

The context is in the original post, which was comparing the handspeed of both fighters, so obviously I didn't have the announce that I was talking about handspeed only. Why tf would I be comparing how fast Shakur can move backwards to Tank when Tank rarely does that? lol

effective pickpocketing is more about handspeed than stealth. the thief creates a distraction and moves with enough purpose and quickness that the theft is over before the victim realizes what has happened to him. a pickpocket trained today. did you?
Essa é a diferença entre treinar agilidade com e sem pesos.😳

I mean did Robson not black Shakur’s eye and Shakur had to hit him with 50 low blows to get offense off consistently lol idk i think it’ll be a puzzle for him to sold we haven’t seen Shakur in there with a slick boxer with a longer reach than him with reflexes and handspeed

Jorge's Handspeed 🔥
11 years ago today Jorge Linares survived a 5th round Knockdown to stop Kevin Mitchell in Round 10 of 12 to successfully defend the WBC Lightweight Title Linares was down 88-82, and 86-84 on two cards with the other 85-85 at the time of the stoppage

Tank walked Frank Martin down and KO'd him, Shakur fought Santos on the back foot the entire fight, so obviously, there's gonna be more to criticize on Shakur's side. Both guys were fighting southpaws who had handspeed and power, and both Tank and Shakur are southpaws, that's the main point of comparison here. Frank threw those same "3 punch combinations" and even landed some, but the difference Tank didn't step back from the center of the ring to the ropes and clinch. He utilized his active high guard and pushed forward while recognizing the patterns in Frank's offense, and gradually began to sneak well timed counters between Frank's punches. As the rounds went on, Frank was getting countered off of almost every punch he threw, and he was being pushed to the ropes by Tank, eventually leading to him being knocked out.
My problem with his breakdown is that it’s clearly not as objective as it seems, he mentioned the lack of ability from Shakur’s opponent in DLS multiple times, but never mentioned the lack of ability in Tank’s opponent, Frank Martin. Shakur was backing up because of 3 punch combinations and only having his lead hand meaning he could only fight from the outside, Frank in that fight was backing up just because of Tank’s presence. Notice how in Tank’s clip Frank was already by the ropes. DLS is also more physically imposing than Tank.

He would play with Wardley. Dubois' handspeed and athleticism - and aggression if he came out like vs AJ - might cause him some trouble initially. But if he was still there after 3 he'd dominate Dubois - probably make him quit.
