The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) Intervention Team has successfully cleared heaps of illegally dumped waste from the median of the Egbeda–Idimu Road and Lawanson, Surulere corridor. The Authority used the opportunity to reiterate its warning to residents, traders, and motorists against the unlawful disposal of refuse on road medians and other unauthorized locations, noting that such practices obstruct drainage channels, degrade the environment, and pose serious public health risks. LAWMA urged residents to patronize only approved waste collection services and comply with environmental sanitation regulations, stressing that violators will be sanctioned in accordance with extant laws of Lagos State. #CleanerLagos

Would be GOATED 💯🌎🇦🇺⚽️ (Long comment ahead ⚠️) Women’s World Cup was AMAZING — the fans, the buzz was killer 🔥, even in a smaller city like Adelaide it felt electric ⚡️. BUT — Men’s WC is on another level, and we desperately need proper purpose-built football stadiums with real capacity. (We don’t have them.) AFL/cricket ovals are fine for what they are (I love Adelaide Oval), but not ideal for ⚽️. A dedicated city stadium for 30K , expandable for WC level, has been overdue for years. Promised by Labor and never delivered — same story in WA, QLD and beyond. We need 25K-12K purpose-built venues across the country. Hindmarsh is solid 8/10 and great for a second team, but SA has potential for two or three clubs one day: city sides like AUFC, a northern team, and something down south further down the track. That only happens with the right stadiums and clubs (or smart mergers). People always say “SA doesn’t need more than Hindmarsh & AO” — we absolutely do, especially a multi-purpose city venue that scales for WC. Same goes for QLD, WA, Canberra, even Tassie. Governments have never properly backed the A-League, and we still don’t have real Football HQ in NSW or Victoria. FIFA, AFC and Oceania could help make Aus NZ a next-level WC, but I’m not holding my breath. If we sorted the stadiums, the vibe would be unreal — perfect weather, massive crowds, and huge passion from our post-WW2 migrant communities: Mediterranean, Balkan, Slavic, Greek, plus Asian, Levantine, Iraqi and more. Dual-nationals who bleed for both 🇬🇷🩸🇵🇱 🔰🦘. Asia being so close would bring heaps more travelling fans too. It’d boost the domestic league long-term and grow the game properly. Women’s WC already showed what’s possible. In 2023 I met a group of five Brazilians in my suburb while moving houses — life was chaotic after losing my grandma, feeling pretty worthless. Three girls and two guys, all decked out in Brazil gear, staying nearby. Super friendly, passionate great humans. We chatted on the street, I gave them my number and hooked them up with proper South American spots for food, bars and pubs. They messaged back, it honestly lifted me during a dark time. Took a couple to the game when their Uber stuffed up, and we ended with a BBQ. The girls were gorgeous, smart and awesome 😍. Real football people — flares and all, no Aussie Karens calling the cops thinking the city was burning 😂. Moments like that prove what a Men’s WC could do ×10. Next level vibes 💯⚽️🔥🎆 (I had something longer and more proper, detailed, but it got deleted and didnt save as a draft. So any questions to my post or a good football chat go ahead and I will answer. Sorry if it was shorter & doesnt make 100% sense. ). God bless and hope one day we do get The World Cup all I've said. 🙏💯⚽️⚡️🔥🔰🇦🇺

This isn’t an argument about your athletes being terrible. It’s about how brilliant they are. They’re not brilliant. They’re not abysmal at either. There’s just heaps of them.

Laura, US needs Heaps of cheap and agile anti-drone racer drones. In future, the likelihood of increased electronic warfare like IRGC-Russia made Shahed drones will exponentially get higher.
