Now listening to Rob Zombie: Hellbilly Deluxe I remember hearing the song Superbeast, and Meet The Creeper play while Playing Twisted Metal III when I was 8. The lyrics became engraved in my head just by the game alone. My father played this album alot in his garage.

house of 1000 corpses is a hellbilly movie like the other reply already said, but i personally think it can fall under southern gothic as well, similar to texas chainsaw massacre

I classify it as Hellbilly given who made it and it’s more uniqe RZ style horror. Funny thing is I think the folks at Deadmeat do that too lol

I mean, the stuff is still good, it just definitely doesnt have the staying power as a lot of other stuff from the time. Kim Deal was at one of our shows once (gutter punk acoustic hellbilly thrash) and she thought we sucked and walked out, lol.
