I see where you’re coming from. I thought about doing a single magnet 80lb lift in this video, but that’s more complicated than it sounds. I’d have to make a holder for just 1 that keeps forces perfectly perpendicular (like a gimbal), use a lapping plate to flatten the magnet, then make a weight holder with a piece of hyperco (a highly permeable magnetic material). Set up a tripod and lights. Then I’d have to splice the footage together. I’m not trying to lie to you, I’m just lazy. There’s some data on the internet you can go find. But anyway, here’s a more advanced EPM that’s half the size lifting 90lbs (I think) from a few years ago at my old job. Unfortunately, I don’t own any of these.
