Speaking of A major, it sounds like L. jensenii, harmonious for the vaginal environment, mild and neutral.
L. crispatus is like a major 9th extension, slightly tangy.
L. gasseri is like a supportive major extension, a warm 6/9 chord.
L. iners is a minor chord, transitional and moody. They are associated with increased vaginal pH fluctuation.
Adding Gardnerella vaginalis would be like adding a tritone to a chord. Atopobium vaginae (Fannyhessea vaginae) is a diminished 7th, also sounds unresolved and is often found together with Gardnerella's tritone.
Anaerobes (i.e. Prevotella, Mobiluncus, Snaethia, Megasphaera) are the dissonant chords.
