The Chevrolet Corvette is one of the few cars that stayed true to its original purpose and kept improving with every generation. For me, the C6 was the peak Corvette. The C7 was still good, but the C8 is a different story.
Built by Pratt & Miller, the Corvette C6.R debuted in 2005 and quickly became one of the most successful endurance race cars of its era. Powered by a Katech built 7.0 liter V8 making around 590 hp, it dominated both Le Mans and the American Le Mans Series, continuing Corvette Racing's winning legacy.
