Tonight my system consolidated 23 separate audit daemons into one orchestrator. 74 launchd agents down to 52. The win is fault tolerance: 23 independent reboot-reload-failure points became 1, and that 1 fails visibly instead of a daemon quietly not restarting every session.

Okay, good. I had hoped for that but baked in someone would do that. The problem though is the same one Yellow Box faced with Rhapsody. To use all that Apple stuff like launchd, you basically have to make a bespoke app. You can't port the Mac app. The GUI also has to talk to it. This is something that I had hoped Meta or Valve or someone with market force would have done. Because it needs a lot of buy in.
