That's true, I just wrap Erlang ETF serialization to the wire and access the port via libusb. Seems easy enough for me.

Some of the debugging is borking the libusb driver. Each time it happens, the model asks me the "unplug and plug the device" I added into AGENTS.md that this not a detachable device, so now the model asks me to "cold reboot" the PC and resume the session 😂😂

Glad to announce that I managed to get the #RTLSDR working on #iPadOS (#iOS) directly via USB without a jailbreak thanks to #USBDriverKit! It's an unofficial port of librtlsdr without libusb (not available on iOS) but instead it uses USBDriverKit. youtu.be/Px_KsW8A-b4

I started with the 18F4450 and raw libusb. Btw, I wanted to make an educational board back then, but I got discouraged. Moral of the story: never ask for validation, just do it.

そこにlibusbでZキーボードを制御してCOMポートのインターフェースに見せる適当に作ったZキーボードブリッジアプリを起動する。XM6 TypeGはCOM9なので相手のCOM8に設定する感じ。

更にあるべき姿を追い求めればcom0com等の仮想シリアルポートドライバでCOMポートのペアを作って、COMポートを介して既存のTrueKeyの機構に繫げるのが筋なんだろうな。ただlibusbのドライバ入れ替えに加えてcom0comのインストールとポートのペアの作成とか手順ばかりが増える。今回は現実路線で。

libusbで直接制御するZキーボードはWindowsにとってのもはや入力デバイスではなくなったにも関わらず、XM6 TypeGの入力系のコードに割り込ませてたのがどうにも気持ち悪くて、せっせとTrueKey側にロジックを整理して移動。Z TrueKeyと言ってる手前あるべき姿にしたいよね。たとえ結果は同じでもさ。

X68000 ZのキーボードをLibUsbで乗っ取ってXM6 TypeG専用キーボード化に成功。HIDキーボード扱いでは無いので文字は打てません（WindowsにSendInputもしません）。Zキーボードのドライバを差し替えると勝手に有効に漢仕様のZ TrueKeyです。もうおなか一杯やわ。満足。

libusbのAPIを駆使してZキーボードからキーのオン、オフを直接読み込むことはできそうだしLED制御もできる。さらにWindowsやIMEの制御もにも縛られないので、通常キーリリースが認識できない漢字、かな、CAPSも関係なく管理できる。TrueKeyを使うのと全く同じ事ができそうなんだ。
